The Master’s degree in Nursing offered by the FENSG / UPE and DE / UEPB is the first Course to be implemented in  large  Association modality in the country, in Nursing area, which is a milestone in the history of Brazilian Nursing. In  Pernambuco state it is the first academic Master's in Nursing.

It began in March 2009, being recommended to start operations in December, 2008.
