Graduate Program in Systems Engineering

The Graduate Program in Systems Engineering (PPGES) of the University of Pernambuco (UPE) has 18 PhD professors-researchers, composing the two research lines of the Program: Cybernetics and Telematics. This Master is pioneering in Brazil to have Cybernetics as one of its focuses which complements with Telematics. Cybernetics refers to systems with feedback, regardless of their nature, whether natural or artificial; Telematics concerns the study and research of the communication aspects of the systems, whether local or remote.
